Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapists are experts in assessing the impact that illness and disability has on a person’s ability to carry out everyday tasks. By working together, we will help you to identify solutions to improve your independence and quality of life.

Using our network of Channel Island associates, Independent Living Consultants Jersey can support people of all ages with a range of daily living challenges including:

  • Providing advice and support pre and post-surgery or hospital admission.
  • Making recommendations on specialist equipment and adaptations that will increase safety and independence.
  • Help overcome the effects of physical disability caused by illness, ageing or accident which is making the daily tasks that you need or want to do more difficult to complete.
  • Supporting people with mental health problems by promoting sustainable routines and helping form realistic goals to support recovery.
  • Assist both employers and employees with difficulties surrounding long term sickness and returning to work.

Ultimately every person we see is individual and their personal requirements for Occupational Therapy differs. We will always ensure we fully understand the reason you are wanting a private Occupational Therapist and tailor our services according to your needs.

All our associate Occupational Therapists are highly experienced and have worked with clients in a wide range of clinical fields. Our Occupational Therapists are all fully insured and registered with the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and Health and Care Professions Council.
