Our care has been designed around the ethos that there is no such thing as ‘one size fits all’. We tailor our services to meet individual needs regardless of what they may be and what stage someone is on their care journey.

Our fully managed home care means that our help and support goes beyond the routine. Whether its changing visit times to fit in with hospital appointments, sourcing reliable tradesmen and being there to provide reassurance in times of crisis, we are here to help.

The home care visits are for a minimum of 2 hours each between the hours of 7am and 9pm as this allows for some quality time for care and support. Overnight care can be organized if desired. We are also able to provide care for those in need of a shorter period of support, such as help following hospital or care home discharge or for those in need of some respite care. As care needs increase, and for those who are trying to avoid leaving their home, we will give honest and practical advice on the best way forward, always putting the client’s welfare at the heart of any plan.

We know how important it is to have the right person care for you or your family members.  We take great pride in making sure that we work to the best possible standards and we are continually investing time into working to adjust and improve our services. ILC is fully regulated by Jersey Care Commission.

The linchpin of any agency is the quality of the carers.  We have a first-class recruitment process and only employ the highest calibre of carer. All our carers are kind and warm hearted with the ability to provide quality care with practical support. They understand the importance of establishing meaningful relationships with our clients while helping them do day to day tasks.

Families who live in the UK or who travel off Island regularly, particularly appreciate the high levels of communication we can put in place if this is something requested. As well as being able to log into our on line portal to check to see when visits are scheduled and read the reports, we provide detailed feedback via email when requested.

ILC works closely with professional delegates who are seeking high quality, fully managed care for their clients and this ultimately reduces the cost to the clients and their families.

      Best Practice

      For many years, Care in Jersey was unregulated.  Over the last few years however, we have been fortunate to have the Jersey Care Commission who independently regulates health and social care in Jersey.  Their website can be reached here

      We strive to ensure that we are meeting best practice standards at all times.  We continually review standards in line with our own policies and procedures to make sure that our clients receive high quality and safe care.

      As well as going through a thorough recruitment process, we ensure that our carers are fully trained and we invest in providing regular formal and informal learning opportunities.
